Pinal County Sheriff’s Office vehicle stolen

At about 5 p.m. on Sept. 3, a vehicle belonging to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office was stolen during an investigative operation at the Promenade Mall in Casa Grande.

Four suspects – Miguel Rodriguez, 23, Eloy; Carlos Orozco, 22; Jose Orozco, Jr., 18, and Jose Orozco, Sr., 48 all from Arizona City – were arrested on scene in connection with the case and booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on felony charges of possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana for sale, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and theft of a means of transportation.

The stolen vehicle was later recovered in the city of Eloy, minus approximately 75 pounds of marijuana. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office seized a 2003 Hummer and a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup from the scene.
