Broussard, Doolittle, Ross, Wolf win

In the Pinal County Superintendent of Schools race, Republican Jill Broussard defeated Democratic incumbent Orlenda Roberts.

Broussard earned 57.3 percent of the votes cast, while Roberts had 42.6 percent. 

Democratic Dolores Doolittle defeated Republican Steven Boyd in the county treasurer’s race by only 777 votes Tuesday, according to Pinal County unofficial election results. 

Doolittle earned 50.5 percent of the vote and Boyd earned 49.4 percent. 

In the county recorder’s race, Virginia Ross, a Republican, received 54.3 percent of the votes cast. She defeated Democrat Barbara Kelly, who got 45.6 percent. 

In the county assessor’s race, Republican Douglas Wolf defeated Randy Robbins, a Democrat. 

Wolf received 56.3 percent of the vote to Robbins’ 43.6 percent.

Pinal County reported a 44.7 percent turnout of 153,056 registered voters in Tuesday’s general election. Statewide, voter turnout was 48.4 percent out of 3.1 million registered voters.
