Henry Wade: Actually doing more with less

204

One of the most significant aspects of running for public office is the almost criminal amount of money that flows in and out of campaigns.

Recently in our state and national elections, we have seen millions and almost a billion dollars being spent in this election cycle. In fact, it was even stated in a recent online article that campaign finance reports “spotlights a candidate’s roots, how close they are to their alma mater and even their endurance for the campaign trail.”

Thankfully, the recent highlighting of my campaign finance reports also spotlights the fact that as a candidate, not only have I had to do more with less, I have actually done so.

Operating in environment where name recognition is important and community engagement absolutely critical, a candidate who keeps pace with an opponent who comes with built-in community access, speaks volumes of their ability to do more with less; especially when they are managing a limited budget.

I am extremely proud of our campaign and our ability to keep pace with our opponent, a former mayor, with such a name-recognition advantage. We are performing at a credible level and receiving a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our community. Our supporters continue to amaze me with their zeal and positive attitude and we are poised to win this election based on a strong message, a significant amount of positive energy and the solid leadership we are offering.

I would not suggest anyone underestimate our campaign efforts or take for granted the community has made up its mind to continue with the status quo. My firefighter endorsement says otherwise.

My vision for Pinal County can only be fulfilled with your vote. Thank you very much in advance.
