Faculty at Butterfield Elementary School reported an alleged incident to the Maricopa Police today involving one of their students on April 26. The student reported to faculty an adult male approached her while she was walking near the school around 8 a.m. and placed his hands on her without her permission.
MPD is investigating the incident and working with Maricopa Unified School District to communicate with parents and students.
