Readers favor horse-puppy bond in Super Bowl ad lineup

InMaricopa.com readers felt their heartstrings tugged at the sight of an adorable puppy forming a close bond with a Clydesdale horse during one of the most popular Super Bowl commercials this year.

In an online poll on InMaricopa.com’s homepage, 48 percent of the 184 voters favored Budweiser’s “Puppy Love” commercial as their favorite Super Bowl ad.

The beer company took the second spot on the poll’s list of commercials with “A Hero’s Welcome,” an ad showing a soldier’s homecoming after a deployment. That commercial received 10 percent of the votes.

The third and fourth spots went to Chrysler’s “Bob Dylan America” (9 percent) and Radio Shack’s “The Phone Call” (7 percent), respectively.
Many voters couldn’t find their favorite Super Bowl ad on our list. Eighteen percent chose the option “Other.”
