POLL: Ulta, Whataburger favorites for new plaza

What storefronts do you hope will join Lowe’s Home Improvement in South Bridge Marketplace? 

Two in 3 InMaricopa readers said they want a new makeup store or burger joint to join the big blue box store at John Wayne Parkway and Honeycutt Avenue, according to a weekly poll of more than 2,000 readers. 

InMaricopa listed several restaurants and retailers in Thompson Thrift’s portfolio that would fit the planned retail spaces. We asked our readers for their favorite likely candidate. 

One-third of voters each chose Ulta Beauty (33%) or Whataburger (32%). 

In third place was Shake Shack with about one-fourth of the votes. 

Readers were not too keen on the last three candidates. 

PetSmart collected 7% of votes, Tropical Smoothie Café garnered 4% and The Vitamin Shoppe came in last place with just 1% of votes.
