Puppy Love pet stylists take over from Pet Stylist 2

Customers of Pet Stylist 2 may see a new face if they enter the business in search of a cut and wash for their favorite, four-legged friend.

The long-time pet grooming shop has gone out of business, and in its place is a new set of pet groomers, Melissa and Richard Rovner.

The Rovners are the owners of Puppy Love Pet Stylist, a business that provided strictly mobile grooming services in Maricopa up until their relocation to the former home of Pet Stylist 2.

As part of the agreement made with the landlord of the property, Pet Stylist was allowed to break their lease as long as they handed their client list over to the new stylists.

It is this list and extended hours that the Rovners hope will be the driving force behind their success.

“We are open seven days a week with extended hours to cater to the needs of our customers,” Melissa said.

The store also offers discounts for seniors, the owner not the pets, and a multi-pet discount.

Services start at $20 and up, depending on the type of animal and services requested.

Currently working at the location are four pet stylists with more than 64 years of experience in the industry, and Puppy Love is still looking for additional groomers to join their crew.

“This is my love,” Melissa said.
