Eighty-eight percent of the Maricopa businesses inspected by Pinal County Public Health Services District in February received “Excellent” marks.

Desert Wind Middle School, CAC Maricopa Campus-Culinary Arts, CAC Maricopa Campus-Cafe, Maricopa Elementary School, Santa Rosa Elementary School, Pima Butte Elementary School, Santa Cruz Elementary School, Brooklyn Boys Italian Restaurant & Pizza, Starbuck’s Kiosk, Maricopa Wells Middle School, Pepe’s Taco Shoppe, JB Farmer’s Convenience Store Inc, The New HQ, Walgreens No. 9264 and Fry’s Market Place No. 672 all received “Es.”

Satisfactory (“S”) scores were awarded to O’Shays and Farmer’s Restaurant, Inc.

Excellent means no violations were found. Satisfactory involves violations corrected during the inspection.

Needs improvement scores are given “where one or more critical items are noted during the inspection and the identified critical items cannot be corrected immediately or prior to the conclusion of the inspection. In these cases, a follow-up inspection is required to verify correction of the previously identified critical items.”
