Saucity’s personality would make her a great companion horse

Saucity is a 14-year-old Paint mare.

She came to Hidden Valley Animal Rescue because she had been suffering from Laminitis, and her previous owner could not give her the care she needed.

A very beautiful horse, Saucity has a personality to go along with it!

She will need to be on a Bermuda only diet and will need a very specific type of trim for the remainder of her life. Unfortunately, Saucity will probably not ever be able to be ridden again but would make a spectacular companion horse or halter show horse.

For more information on Saucity, contact Vanessa Hart at 623-707-9518 at Hidden Valley Animal Rescue.

Hidden Valley Animal Rescue is located just 10 miles south of the city of Maricopa. It is committed to educating the public on the life-long commitment they undertake when bringing home a pet. In Hidden Valley there is a severe problem with people dropping unwanted pets into the desert and leaving them to fend for themselves, which usually means a torturous death in the sun or being hit by cars and trucks.

Most of the animals that the rescue takes in are dehydrated, have not received proper medical care and are rarely fixed. Any animals that need help are rescued, regardless of their species or age. Shelter and food is currently provided for dogs, cats, horses, goats, rats, chickens and fish.
