Seminar to offer tips on stimulus money for small businesses

Small-business owners looking for information on how to get a piece of the stimulus pie will get an opportunity through a seminar in April in Casa Grande.

The Arizona district office of the U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a workshop highlighting small-business provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The stimulus act provided $730 million to the Small Business Administration and created a comprehensive package of tax breaks, financial assistance and market enhancements designed to help foster entrepreneurship and job creation.

The informational seminar will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 8 in Casa Grande at the Central Arizona College site at 540 N. Camino Mercado, Suite 1.
