Services for Ray Morrow on Tuesday, Aug. 26

Ray Morrow, 40, of Maricopa, died Aug. 19, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident. He is survived by his parents, Mary Morrow-Bax and Frank Bax; his brother, Daniel Morrow of Sun Valley, California; his stepbrothers, David Bax and Steven Bax and their wives, JoEllen and Michele; many aunts, uncles and cousins; his girlfriend, Kelly Standorf; and numerous dear friends.

Ray was a professional realtor and employing broker with Fortuna Land & Realty who was instrumental in bringing commercial business to Maricopa. He was involved with regional transportation planning and also an active member of the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce.

Ray was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 30, 1968. He was raised in Prairie Village, Kansas; Bettendorf, Iowa; and Alexandria, Virginia, but found his real home and happiness in Maricopa. He was a 1986 graduate of Lake Braddock High School in Alexandria, VA and a 1990 graduate of the University of Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Ray Morrow Foundation, P.O. Box 447, Maricopa, Arizona 85239. The Foundation has been established to assist people in need in Maricopa, Ray’s adopted home.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at 6 p.m. at his home at 1511 Deer Trail, Maricopa, AZ 85239.

Directions:
Take John Wayne Parkway (347) South of Maricopa past Harrah’s Casino approximately two miles to Papago Rd. Travel west on Papago Rd. approximately five miles, and it will turn south into Warren Rd. Travel approx. 10-12 miles to Fresno Rd., turn right (west) to Deer Trail, traveling south to the home.
