According to the National Weather Service, there is 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11a.m. for Independence Day. The day is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 106 degrees. Winds will be “breezy” around 15 mph in the morning, but gusts could reach as high as 21 mph.

The high for Sunday is expected to be 103 degrees. There is a slight chance of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. That is currently projected to last through Wednesday.
