All participants in the run/walk receive a chocolate-filled goodie bag, dri-fit T-shirt and finisher’s medal. They will also enjoy chocolate “sweet spots” placed throughout the course.

Competitors are categorized by gender and age. The top three in all age groups receive awards. Last year’s youngest finisher in the 3-mile race was 7. The oldest was 71.

The event welcomes pets on leashes, wheelchairs, strollers and wagons. Roller blades, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed.

There will be pre-race and post-race “runner’s brunch” items like fruit, bagels, water and Gatorade. Race times and photos will be available in real time.
