Tortosa will celebrate the holidays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday during its annual Winterfest, this year featuring 20 tons of snow for sledding, an interactive ice sculpture demonstration, Santa Claus riding in on his motorcycle, “reindeer rides” (ponies wearing antlers); a keiki holiday hula dancing performance; 20 to 30 local craft, food and nonprofit vendors at “Santa’s Shoppes,” an interactive DJ, and a Christmas tree lane raffle.
All proceeds will go to the F.O.R. Maricopa food bank.
