Yappy Hour fundraiser Sept. 17

The Ritz Barklton, a local pet sitting business, will host its second Yappy Hour of the year from 6 to 9 p.m., Sept. 17, at the Silver Spur Grill at The Duke, 42660 W. Rancho El Dorado Parkway.

Five dollars of each $10 admission goes to Pet Social Worker, a pet rescue organization.

There will be a full cash bar and a selection of $5 appetizers for humans, and water and treats provided for pets. There will be pets available for adoption and a door prize raffle.

Dogs are invited to the outdoor areas of The Duke, as long as they are leashed and well socialized. Dogs also must be vaccinated and waste must be cleaned up immediately b y the owners.
