Earlier in the week, government officials warned of flood waters hitting Maricopa washes – and streets – on Tuesday, August 23, and then again the following day. Following are photos of the Santa Rosa wash area in Rancho El Dorado taken yesterday:
Rancho El Dorado Parkway was closed just west of Santa Rosa Elementary School.
Several Rancho El Dorado homes became “lakefront” properties this weekend.
Some kids played in the flooded wash, ignoring the danger and warning signs.
