Maricopa Police Department asked the public to help in the ongoing search of 14-year-olds Karleigh Cardinas and Sawyer Ross last Thursday. The search is halfway done.

Police found Ross and she returned home, according to MPD spokesperson Monica Williams.

Karleigh Cardinas has not been “physically located,” said Williams, but has “been in contact with others.”

Cardinas weighs about 180 pounds, is about 5’7″ tall and has brown hair and brown eyes. She left her Maricopa home Sept. 22 and was spotted in town four days later.

If you have any information or have seen Cardinas, contact MPD at 520-568-3673.
