Students of the Month in grades 4-6 at Pima Butte.
Students in grades 4-6 listen as the awards are presented.
The second assembly period, for students in grades 4-6, featured a reading by fourth graders Sydnee Akers and Brandon Decker on the importance of each person doing “just a little bit” at home, in the neighborhood, at school and in the community. Their teacher, Larry Peterson, discussed being a “citizen” for all the students, asking them to share their thoughts on the definition of the word.
Teacher Larry Peterson defines the word “citizen.”
Brandon Decker and Sydnee Akers explain how each person needs to do “just a little bit” to be a better citizen.
