Heritage Academy earned an A grade from the Arizona Education Department for its performance in the past school year.

That’s according to state education’s most recent report card for the sixth-through-12th-grade charter school at 41000 W. Heroes Way in Maricopa.

Heritage Academy, a tuition-free school, is among the first charter schools in Arizona.

It “provides a safe environment across four campuses in Maricopa, Mesa, Queen Creek and Laveen,” according to the school.

Founded in 1995, Heritage Academy was the fourth charter granted in Arizona.

Business Manager Jared Taylor did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
