Maricopa High School Theatre Company presents “Freaky Friday, A New Musical,” from April 25 to 27 at the Performing Arts Center.

The musical is based on a book by Bridget Carpenter and music by Tom Kitt, with lyrics by Brian Yorkey.

The musical opens curtains at 7 p.m. April 25 and 26, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 27.

Tickets are $12 general admission, $10 for students and staff, plus $3 for VIP priority seating, concessions at intermission and photos with the cast.

Freaky Friday is based on the novel by the same name and authored by Mary Rodgers and Disney Films.

The musical is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.

He retired in 2019 but got the itch to return to a digital newsroom after four years of vegetable gardening.
