AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will prepare 2023 taxes at the Maricopa Library Tuesdays and Saturdays this tax season. 

Free tax assistance will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning Feb. 3 through April 16 at 18160 N. Maya Angelou Drive. 

Tax returns will be completed onsite and in-person. They will take about an hour to prepare, review, print and sign. 

There are several ways to schedule your appointment: 

  • The preferred method is the website. Filers can see what is open on the schedule and select a preferred day and time. 
  • Beginning Wednesday, a phone line will be available at 480-702-1979 for messages only. Applicants should leave a voicemail, stating your name and phone number. Tax-Aide will return your call as soon as possible. 
  • Tax-Aide will be at the Senior Expo at the Maricopa Public Library Jan. 20. Go to the Tax-Aide booth to pick up a packet or to schedule an appointment.
