More overnight restrictions will be followed by the opening of a long-awaited turn lane.

Arizona Department of Transportation will close lanes on State Route 347 from just south of Smith-Enke Road to the north of the city limit as crews stripe new lanes.

Northbound John Wayne Parkway will be reduced to one lane between just south of Smith-Enke Road and approximately milepost 176, north of city limits, from 6 p.m. through 5 a.m. Jan. 31 to Feb. 1.

The left turn lane into the southern entrance of the Cobblestone Farms community will be closed during this time. Drivers can turn left into the community at the northern entrance (Cobblestone Farms Dr/Lakeview Dr) as that turn restriction will be lifted.

Southbound John Wayne Parkway will be reduced to one lane between approximately milepost 176, north of the city limits, to north Cobblestone Farms Drive, from 9 p.m. through 8 a.m. Jan 31 to Feb. 1.

After the southbound restrictions are lifted, the double left turn lane into Rancho El Dorado will be opened.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
