Bristol Palin furnishes Maricopa home

Questions about whether Bristol Palin plans to live in the Maricopa house she purchased last month may have been answered this weekend.

According to Hollywoodlife.com and several other infotainment websites, Palin spent the weekend in Arizona purchasing furniture and other household items.

The site adds Palin was spotted moving two mattresses into the five-bedroom home in Cobblestone Farms that she bought in December for $172,000.

There were initial reports that Palin would be attending journalism school at ASU and staying in the Maricopa home, but the director of the school told the Arizona Republic Palin never registered as a student at ASU.

More recently, Clear Channel’s Mix 96.9 offered a morning talk show gig to Palin, daughter of 2010 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

“It is an official offer to a very well known personality, who may be looking for a new career in what will most likely be her new home state,” station Program Director Ron Price said in a news release.

The offer was formally extended over the air by the channel’s morning disc jockey, Matthew Blades. If Palin were to accept she would work alongside the morning show talk host.

“I think that Bristol’s outlook on life is probably different from mine, and that contrast could be interesting to listen to,” Blades said, according to KPHO.
