It is an exciting time for Pinal County to move forward, and fortunately we have experienced, Democratic candidates with proven records, fighting for working families, who can lead us there.

I see Mr. Bill Bridwell still can't get anything right.

So again, the question is: How can Campos' represent the family values of residents in and around Maricopa and Pinal County while being opportunistic at the risk of values and ethics? Simply put, he can't. It's time Campos stopped defending himself and just admit to being wrong.

Whether or not Maricopa's Question #5 is approved, it's important for taxpayers to get the hard numbers to understand how this bond will affect their bottom line.

Yes, we have endorsed Chris Vasquez for Sheriff. He has kept his promises to us and we will keep our promise to him.

Paul Babeu has a plan to fix this problem and to keep our roads safe.

When the voters indicate they are ready for a change on Nov. 4, not only will I correct the highly flawed assessment system in Pinal County, I will work with the state senators and legislators to change the convoluted laws where they are enacted, at the capitol.

Pinal Counties Legislative District 23 deserves Andre Campos as our State Senator and Frank Pratt and John Fillmore as our State Representatives. Please join me in casting our votes for them.

I feel we have alternatives, and the only thing lost by being conservative is a chance. Things change; opportunities and chances come again.

There is a lot of negative press about Chris Vasquez: I would like to state my opinion.

It's important to realize that not all Maricopans can afford this bond measure right now.

Steve Fuller, on the other hand, has been a dynamo in the performance of his job as the top criminal prosecutor in Pinal County. His record of accomplishment and service has been remarkable and verifiable by anyone familiar with the court system in Pinal County regardless of party affiliation.

Pinal County's good-ole-boy, or in this case good-ole-girl, system couldn't be better defined than the path by which County Recorder Laura Dean-Lytle and County Treasurer Dodie Doolittle both rose to power.

Take a long hard look at what Sheriff Vasquez has done not only for the Sheriff's office but for the citizens of Pinal County - his achievements and accomplishments are too numerous to mention - and he's "just getting started."

In fact, if you sit at home on any given weekend in October, then you're just not paying attention to a very full calendar of community activities.

As satisfied residents I am asking for you to help keep Maricopa a desirable place to live. Vote YES on Question 5.

Contact your school board members, and/or attend the meeting on October 8th and let them know that an industrial facility does not belong in the middle of a residential neighborhood.

Why do nearly all 15,000 police and fire fighters in Arizona support Paul Babeu? We trust and believe in him. Paul will get the job done.

It is a decision that could affect the future of this, the Greatest Experiment in humankind.

October 2008 marks Maricopa's fifth anniversary, a milestone worthy of celebration. The City of Maricopa is also currently debt-free, another significant milestone, but one that could change on November 4.

The government plan announced by Treasury Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Bernanke fails to deal with the root cause of the crisis---families in foreclosure----and instead is purely and simply a bailout of the lenders who created this disaster.
