Church of Celebration hosting ‘Dunk Town’ summer kids’ camp

The Church of Celebration invites Maricopa kids, ages 4 through fourth grade just completed, to Dunk Town on July 14-17.

Dunk Town is a free summer program just for kids, who can experience four fun-filled nights of thrills, drills and life skills. And, with the help of special guests Coach Slamma Jamma and Basketball All Star Funkie Dunc, kids will be introduced to an important coaching tip each night.

In addition, there will be hands-on activities like crafts, experiments, wild and wacky basketball games, plus a chance for the kids to chow down on some traditional concession stand favorites.

Every team player will receive a free t-shirt and nightly giveaways

Ginger Barrett, children’s director of Celebration City said, “The planning and preparation is in full swing, and we are looking forward to what God is going to do during this children’s outreach opportunity. Last year we had over 300 kids in attendance and had a blast. Our goal is to provide a fun, exciting and safe environment for kids where they can learn about Jesus.”

“Get ready to bring your “A” game and come on out for a Slam Dunk of a time,” said Barrett.
