Another car wash is hoping your ride needs a quick spa day.
Scottsdale-based Clean Freak Car Wash submitted pre-application paperwork last week to open next door to the Circle K on Honeycutt and Porter Roads, according to documents obtained in a public records request.
A project narrative described a 130-foot-long wash tunnel with 18 vacuum stalls, three pay stations and two pre-wash stations. The car wash would be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and employ nine people.
Circle K acquired the car wash brand in 2022, which operates 27 stores across Arizona and Texas. Customers who purchase memberships can receive fuel discounts from the gas station.
Last month, Super Star Car Wash expressed interest in setting up an express car wash on the southwest corner of John Wayne Parkway and Honeycutt Avenue, just south of the upcoming Lowe’s Home Improvement store.
Details on when the city may approve the application have not been released.
