The city of Maricopa’s Community Services Department, parks and recreation division, is now accepting applications for programs listed in the fall Activator.

The activities offered range from ballet to football with something for every age group or interest. “We offer great classes to keep everyone busy and active,” said Maria Billingsley, city recreation coordinator.

The cost for the classes is $20 to $85, depending on their duration, with scholarships available to those with financial difficulties.

“We want to make sure we can get everyone into the classes,” said Billingsley.
