The city of Maricopa, in coordination with the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 12043, the American Legion Post No. 133, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 133, is sponsoring the first Maricopa Veterans' Town Hall.
The Town Hall will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Maricopa Rotary Park, 44240 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.
The event will include a resource fair featuring representatives from federal and state veterans affairs organizations to offer benefits assistance. Veterans groups from various Pinal County municipalities also will be in attendance.
Participants will hear from guest speakers and meet business representatives offering special promotions for veterans. There will be activities and food.
