More than 100 fathers, grandfathers, uncles and other significant male role models gathered Friday at Maricopa Elementary School for a breakfast hosted by the school’s student council.
“This is a great way to show the men in our students’ lives how important they are,” said council advisor Linda Christian.
To show their appreciation, the students served pastries, coffee, milk and hung pink streamers from the trees on the school’s grounds with heartfelt words for their dads attached.
