Duderbugs celebrates first anniversary, hosts princess party

Duderbugs is celebrating. Last month the party was for the local children’s resale clothing and accessories store’s first anniversary. This month the focus is on princesses.

As part of last month’s anniversary, the store had a raffle for a free crib. Maricopa resident Paul Craig won and subsequently revealed that he and his wife plan to add a new member to the family in 2009.

“We bought a stroller, and now we have a crib,” Craig said. He added that although he is not a connoisseur of baby beds, the white crib he won is pretty nice and made his wife happy.

On Saturday, Sept. 27, Duderbugs will host a princess party.

It’s the perfect opportunity for mothers and their daughters to get dressed up and come to Duderbugs for food, games and a princess costume contest. The winner will get her very own dress up kit, but all girls should be dressed as their favorite princess.

“This is an excellent opportunity for moms and daughters to get out and have some fun,” said Duderbugs Owner Michelle Smith.

The event is free, but all those interested in attending must pre-register.
