Firehouse recipe: Chicken and Ritz

This tasty dish was whipped up by firefighter Chip Wright to feed himself and six or seven of his colleagues at Fire Station 571 on North Porter Road.

Ingredients:

5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 bundle of celery
2 bay leaves
1 package of Ritz crackers
¼ cup melted butter
16 oz. tub of sour cream
14 oz. can cream of chicken soup

Instructions:

Bring chicken breasts, bay leaves and celery to a slow boil in lightly seasoned water for 20 minutes. In another bowl, crumble Ritz crackers and mix with ¼ cup melted butter. In yet another bowl, mix sour cream and cream of chicken soup together.

Place chicken in baking dish and cover it with sour cream mixture. Spread the crackers over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Done!
