On Monday, the Self Advocacy Coalition of Arizona and the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities will hold a training session on self-advocacy.

The session is geared toward anyone concerned about looming budget cuts that could affect services for the disabled. The training includes how to testify in front of legislative committees and whom to contact about such issues.

“Get your opinion heard during budget cuts is very critical,” said Jason Geroux, a community liaison for the Governor’s Council.

The session is open to all and no prior reservation is required.
