What are your New Year’s resolutions in 2024?

We talked to a few Maricopa residents Wednesday and asked what they’ve promised to accomplish this year. It appears most people in the city are striving for health and happiness in 2024.

Here’s what our neighbors had to say:

Yowchananan Ivy, 17: “My goals for this year include maintaining consistency in all aspects of my life, both in my studies and at the gym.”

Russell Gulko, 48: “My resolution this year is to get back into shape workout and feel better and live a healthy life.”

Patrick Pettis, 16: “I aspire to be the best student-athlete I can be. My goal is to get outstanding grades, not only for my parents but also for my personal growth and future aspirations. I want to attend college one day, and at the same time, I am committed to becoming the best baseball player I can possibly be.”

Noe Serrato, 59: “This year, my goal is to become an improved version of myself compared to last year. I aim to cultivate greater patience, avoiding quick anger and to be more considerate and thoughtful towards others.”
