Holiday concerts highlight busy month of school events

The Maricopa Unified School District has a busy month ahead as students prepare to showcase their hard work from the past few months. Maricopa Wells Middle School, Pima Butte Elementary, Santa Rosa Elementary and Maricopa High School will all be holding concerts. Also planned are festive events at Maricopa Elementary and Santa Cruz Elementary.

• Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. – Maricopa Wells Middle School Holiday Band Concert – Director Nicole Munns
• Dec. 11 at 6:30 p.m. – Pima Butte Elementary School Holiday Concert, grades 3-5, debuting the Mustang Winds and the Mustang Strings (Santa’s Gift Shop opens at 6:00 p.m.)
• Dec. 13 at 6:30 p.m. – Maricopa High School Holiday Concert featuring the band and choirs
• Dec. 17 at 6:00 p.m. – Maricopa Wells Middle School Holiday Dance Recital
• Dec. 18 at 6:30 p.m. – Pima Butte Elementary School Holiday Concert, grades K-2 (Santa’s Gift Shop opens at 6:00 p.m.)
• Dec. 18 at 6:00 p.m. – Maricopa Elementary School’s 2nd Annual Winter Express – crafts, treats and fun
• Dec. 18 at 6:00 p.m. – Santa Rosa Elementary School Holiday Concert
• Dec. 18 at 6:00 p.m. – Santa Cruz Elementary School “Starry, Starry Night” program and activities
