Honeycutt Road undergoing temporary emergency closure

The city of Maricopa will be closing Honeycutt Road between state Route 347 and Pershing Street on Thursday, March 25, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Traffic in both directions will be prohibited during this closure.

The closure is necessary to repair a damaged grate.

Traffic will be rerouted from Honeycutt onto Pershing Street to the Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway. The city of Maricopa will provide preferred alternate routes on the city’s Web site at www.maricopa-az.gov, on Wednesday, March 24.
