Insurance review, special ed transportation top school board’s agenda

Maricopa Unified School District’s governing board will meet Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. at the district office administration building, 44150 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy.

In addition to approving vouchers and personnel, board members will hear various reports. Business Director Aron Raush will provide the monthly financial report and a district insurance review.

Dr. Kymberly Marshall, director of Exceptional Student Services for the district, will provide board members with a report on the Assistive Technology Grant completion. In addition, Marshall will report on the district transportation plan and procedures for special education students.

The five members of the governing board will review and select 10 educational items which they feel are priority issues for the Arizona School Boards Association to pursue in any special session on education and/or in the 50th session of the Arizona legislature.
