The fifth annual Kids Day Maricopa promoting health, safety and environmental awareness will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Maricopa Wells Middle School, 45012 W. Honeycutt Ave., hosted by Dr. John A. Donohue.
The Maricopa Police Department will be on hand to provide free fingerprinting, and members of the Maricopa Fire Department will talk about fire safety. Other activities include bicycle safety, drug awareness, Internet safety, healthy eating and exercise.
Additionally, Ak-Chin Fire will provide seatbelt safety and Donohue will offer free health screenings and distribute information on disease prevention and health promotion.
