Leading Edge Academy Maricopa, a new charter school recently approved to open a K-6 school in Maricopa, will be hosting a Community Information Meeting about its upcoming Maricopa campus on Monday, March 22, at the First Baptist Church of Maricopa.

“About 50 people came to the community meeting we held in February, and we are excited about our upcoming meeting,” said Ron Body, director of Leading Edge Academy. “The meeting will allow those in the community to hear about vision, learn about our curriculum and philosophy, and ask any questions they may have.”

Leading Edge Academy Maricopa will open August 5 and is currently enrolling students on its website and via phone (520-568-7800).  Leading Edge Academy also has campuses in Queen Creek, Gilbert and Mesa.

“Although our schools are designed around traditional family values, what really makes us different from other schools is that we have a culture of success,” said Body. “We believe every student can be successful if they work hard, and we are training a generation for excellence both inside and outside of the classroom.”
