Legacy Traditional School seeks PALS

The parent teacher association for the Legacy Charter Schools is seeking volunteers for next year’s board.

The Legacy parent teacher association, which is called PALS, short for Parents Assisting Legacy Schools, is looking for volunteers to run for the positions of president, vice-president, treasures and secretary.

So far, three people have signed up to be on the ballot.

However, if anyone is interested in running for one of the open positions, it is not too late. All they need to do is show up at the election and get their name on the ballot, a school official said. Elections will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Legacy Schools cafeteria.

No previous training for these positions is necessary; the parents who fill the positions now will training incoming officers.
