The Maricopa Lions Club will hold its sixth annual golf event on Saturday, March 26 at the Duke Golf Club. The tournament is limited to 32 foursomes, and the entry fee is $100 per player. Proceeds will benefit charities supported by the Lions, including issues such as sight and hearing, diabetes, vision screening, school and youth programs and community health and welfare.

Players in the four-person scramble format event will receive their green fee, cart, and range balls, and prizes will be awarded to the first-place team in each of three divisions. There also will be a fun-raising raffle featuring numerous prizes.

Sponsorship opportunities remain available to local businesses looking to support these causes and promote their business. For the sixth year, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino is the title sponsor of the event, but driving range and putting green sponsorships are available for $300; hole sponsorships for $150; and a hole-in-one sponsorship for $250.

For sponsorship information contact Chris Dornath by email at [email protected] or call him at 480-349-5788. The Maricopa Lions Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all contributions are tax deductible.
