Maggie survived kill shelter and needs a good home

66

Maggie was pulled from a high kill shelter along with her daughter. Her daughter has since been adopted.

Maggie, a Chihuahua/ terrrer mix, is good with other dogs and thrives on human contact. She is spayed, de-wormed, UTD on vaccinations, rabies and micro-chipped. Maggie is approx 2.5 – 3 years old. Adoption fee is $150.

If you are interested in Maggie, contact Rhonda Kuehn, Helping Orphaned Hounds Rescue, at 602-680-0713.

Founded in 2008, Helping Orphaned Hounds is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization with two main goals: Find loving homes for homeless dogs/puppies in the AZ area and promote spay/neuter thereby reducing the tragic consequences of pet overpopulation.

With no facility of our own, our greatest irony is that we’re as homeless as the animals that we are helping! Instead of limiting us, that fact has driven us to create the model of a 21st Century “virtual shelter.” Our animals are evaluated, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and ultimately placed in a loving and permanent home.

Attention pet owners: The low cost spay/neuter clinic will be in Maricopa on Thursday, Jan. 13. For more information or to book an appointment, call 480-656-4479 or visit www.mashvet.net.
