The F.OR. Maricopa food bank will celebrate its first anniversary tonight with an open house to showcase its operation to the community.
The food bank opened in 2007 and is the only food bank located in Maricopa.
Since opening, it has helped more than 40 families from the area, organizers said.
The open house will include information to educate people about day-to-day operations at the facility.
There will be light snacks for guest to munch on throughout the night.
