Registration starts Saturday for Little League

Early-bird discounts through Dec. 31 are being offered to play in Maricopa Little League. 

Registration starts 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Pacana Park.

Other registration times, dates and location are:

* 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Nov. 24, Walmart
* 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 15, Walmart.

Cost is:

Ages 4-6 – co-ed T-ball, $50; $60 after Dec. 31.
Ages 6-8 – co-ed machine pitch, $60; $70 after Dec. 31.
Ages 8-10 – boys’ minors baseball, $90; $110 after Dec. 31.
Ages 10-12 – boys’ majors baseball, $90; $110 after Dec. 31.
Ages 8-10 – girls’ minors softball, minors, $90; $110 after Dec. 31.
Ages 10-12 – girls’ majors softball, $90; $110 after Dec. 31.
Ages 13-16 – juniors and seniors, softball and baseball, $90; $110 after Dec. 31.
Ages 4-21 – co-ed challengers, $0.

There is a $220 family cap per year, and a limited number of financial scholarships are available.

T-ball and machine pitch seasons should start in January. Minors/majors should start in March/April.

On-site registration will be electronic. Online registration opens Saturday.
