Maricopa Stand-Up for Veterans scheduled for March 24

Veterans are invited to the Maricopa Stand-Up for Veterans event Thursday, March 24, at City Hall.

Veterans will be able to access resources and tools they need to succeed for themselves and for their family, all under one roof! The event is sponsored by Councilmember Bridger Kimball in conjunction with Maricopa American Legion Post 133, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12043 and Blue Star Moms of Maricopa.

“We are eternally grateful for the sacrifice Veterans and their families have made for our country,” Kimball said. “This event is just one way we can honor their services and offer them important resources in one convenient location.”

What: Maricopa Stand-Up for Veterans
When: Thursday, March 24 from 5-8 p.m.
Where: City Hall at 39700 W. Civic Center Plaza
Who: All Veterans are invited

Veterans are asked to bring their ID and DD214 to meet with one of the on-site Veterans Administration Representatives to find out about benefits, their VA ID card and to get questions answered.
