Desert Greens Cooperative Suites held their ribbon cutting and grand opening Saturday afternoon.

The grand opening event featured a magician, ice cream, snacks and drinks. On hand for the ribbon cutting were council members Marvin Brown, Julia Gusse and Alan Marchione.  New city manager Brenda Fischer was also present.

Myron Trafelet and daughter Holly are moving their Trafelet Accounting offices to the new Desert Greens location at 41600 W. Smith Enke (west of the public library).

The Maricopa residents have a full-service CPA and accounting firm that services the local community and beyond. However, the new Desert Greens is intended to help the city of Maricopa grow.

In addition to the two offices for Trafelet Accounting PLLC, there are five additional, fully furnished “incubator” suites in the center. A start-up or small business can lease office space for 12 months while it begins to grow.  Each suite occupant will enjoy the added benefits of a shared receptionist and a shared kitchen, as well as an area for copying and computer access.

If you are interested in becoming part of Desert Greens Cooperative Suites, contact Holly Trafelet at 520-510-7834.
