Maricopa’s newest high school

Leading Edge Academy Maricopa, a K-8 charter school which opened this past year, was approved by the AZ Charter School Board on April 11to offer grades 9-12. 

“I am extremely happy and excited to offer the city of Maricopa a new progressive high school that will meet the needs of academic excellence to our students,” said Mat Reese, principal of Leading Edge Academy Maricopa. “This school is for students of high moral character who are academically motivated with college as their ultimate goal.”

With schools throughout the Phoenix area, Leading Edge Academy Charter Schools have been ranked “Top 10 Charter School in the Valley” and have received “Excelling” and “Highly Performing” ratings from the state. “Our goal is to be the leading choice in Maricopa for elementary, junior high, and high school,” said Reese.

Leading Edge Academy Maricopa is located at 18700 N Porter Rd (adjacent to Pacana Park). The school is currently enrolling students for grades K-12 on its website, www.leadingedgeacademy.com and via phone (520-568-7800).
