Meet Russell Pearce and State Senate candidate Steve Smith

State senator Russell Pearce (author of the immigration bill SB 1070) will be at The Duke golf course in Maricopa this Friday, June 25, to support Steve Smith, who is running for state senator in District 23.

The event will be a meet and greet mixer held at the Silver Spur Restaurant at The Duke. The public will have the opportunity to hear Pearce speak and to also hear and meet Smith.

In addition to Pearce and Smith, Arizona House of Representatives candidate John Fillmore will be speaking; other top Arizona legislators and officials, including Maricopa Mayor Anthony Smith, are expected to be in attendance.

The event will begin at 6:45 p.m. sharp, and refreshments will be provided along with food and drink specials for all who attend. This event is open to the public, and Smith would love to talk to and get to know all of his fellow residents of Maricopa and District 23.
