Movie in the park “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” tonight

Tonight, Saturday, March 28, Maricopans can attend a movie, a movie in the park.

Community of Hope is sponsoring a showing of “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa” in the Jane Askew Park at the entrance to Rancho El Dorado. The family fun begins at 7 p.m., so bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the continuing adventures of Alex the lion, Gloria the hippo, Marty the zebra and Melman the giraffe.

When the animals decide to return to New York, they board a plane in Madagascar but crash-land in Africa, meeting others just like themselves. Problems, which require resolution, arise for this little group of comrades.
