Maricopa police are investigating reports of shots fired in Rancho El Dorado Friday night.

Just after 10 p.m., cops responded to a report of shots fired at a park in the northeast corner of Rancho El Dorado.

“Officers located several spent shell casings from shots that appear to have been fired directly into the ground,” MPD spokesperson Monica Williams told InMaricopa.

Police do not have any suspect information, but are investigating the incident, Williams said.

“We welcome the public to contact us should they have any information regarding the incident at our non-emergency line.”
