MUSD gives community groups greater access to playing fields

In the spirit of cooperation and our commitment to the people of Maricopa, the superintendent and the Maricopa school board have recently adjusted our policy to make our playfields more readily available to Maricopa Youth Football, Maricopa Little League and other groups that may qualify. 

We are excited as a district to invest in the community by helping the volunteers that work for these groups enhance the lives of our children.
 
As the superintendent of MUSD, I believe this action will create a greater sense of neighborhood between the schools and the community. I commend the board for their action and leadership on this recommendation, and we are unified in “Doing what’s best for kids, to the best of our ability.”
